Description

Beautiful and unusual custom-made or bespoke evening gown in a silvery white brocade type fabric with a satin lining. Might’ve been created by a very good home tailor but based on the design and the quality of the fabric and the way it fits I am guessing this was a custom-made piece for a special occasion. Bodice is beaded with a cluster of glass beads. Zipper back, and a belted waist. Size unknown - appears to be a small size. Please see the measurements below: Taken flat Belted waist line 14 inches Armpit to armpit 16.5 inches overall length 52 inches Hips 19 inches The dress is in good vintage condition, but not perfect and is sold as is - it probably could use a cleaning and there might be a few minor spots of piling or loose threads that could be easily removed. But for the estimated age of the dress - potentially 1960s era - it’s in good shape.
