BANPRESTO (BANDAI) 1996 - OG-1 GODZILLA 1996 ROAR - BATTERY OPERATED SOUND PLUSH FIGURE - APPROXIMATELY 7" TALL - NO BANPRESTO HANG TAG - NEW Please allow me to deviate somewhat from my normal eBay listing description. For those who have monitored-scrutinized many of my eBay listings from the very beginning and know that I am somewhat eccentric (aloha Ben), you will find this statement consistent as to how I am as a person, as I was taking the Godzilla plush figure out of storage, I had an urge to squeeze Godzilla as I was examining it, I heard a muffled noise as I was squeezing it and I got startled, I did not know where the noise came from, to my amazement, the muffled noise came from the Godzilla plush figure. After a thorough examination, I found out that Godzilla had a small slit with a velcro opening on the lower part of his dorsal spine. I opened the velcro and found a small battery-operated soundbox that recreated that classic-iconic roar of Godzilla. The battery-operated plastic made soundbox was in mint condition and there are three LII54 alkaline cell batteries inside. When I purchased this I never knew that it was a battery-operated sound plush figure, I thought it was just a plush figure, otherwise, I would have removed the batteries before placing it into storage. The Godzilla 1996 battery operated sound plush figure is approximately 7" tall, in very good condition considering its age (see photos), and there is a sewn Banpresto tag with some manufacturing information on it (see photo). My personal comment for this is that it is so cute and rarely seen listed on eBay in this operating-working condition. This is an original-vintage collectible that is about 23 years old and so hard to buy in the condition as the one listed here! All my inventory, stock, of art, vinyl-art is authorized and licensed by the various companies in Japan and here domestically and has been maintained in the very best condition as possible over the years and or decades. When I do charge for shipping, many times I do not charge enough to cover all the shipping costs. In the rare cases that I have overcharged in my shipping cost, I have refunded the overcharge amount to my customers through PayPal.
