Antique authentic original Antique 1800´s authentic early Gold Metal brokade Lace Trim Ribbon. Scallop shape of woven REAL METAL threads on a cotton base. Sold by the yard. (gb-35) This is a wonderful antique trim c. 1880-1890s. It is quite stiff because of the tight metal threads. Edges at the scallop roundings are turned on to the back-side - SEE photos. They can be kept as is or cut off as the scallop roundings are chained. >> Click here for my other items << Size: 3/4 " widest to 1/2 " smallest width - sold by the yard. It is 26-27 yards in one continuous length on a card. Condition: UNUSED antique store stock in excellent as good as mint condition. Here you have the unique chance to get sufficient yardage for your project. Origin / Provenance of my laces: Many years (c. 3 decades) ago I purchased the entire store stock of a since long closed company for millinery, padding and passementerie supply. This company was founded in 1886 and had sold trims of French as well German origin since the 1880´s and closed in the 1960´s. Most of my offered trims are of this stock. Condition: All of my offers are antiques or old used items with normal signs due to those characteristics and sold as they are. I always do effort to provide good and detailed photos and an exact description. I tried to describe everything important.
