ANTIQUE LATE 19th/ EARLY 20th c CHINESE OR JAPANESE BROCADE SILK OVAL MEDALLION! Up for the auction is a beautiful antique late 19th/ early 20th century Chinese or Japanese brocade silk oval medallion featuring Phoenix bird in the center with surrounding it geometric figures and stylized flowers. Woven in purple and golden brown threads. Lined with bright red silk lining. Extremely finely worked pieces- just look at the pictures! The oval medallion measures 13” (33 cm) wide x 11 6/8” (29.5 cm) tall. Condition: EXCELLENT antique condition with no visible damages or imperfections.
